The trek takes you through lush forests filled with rhododendron and oak trees, offering a stunning display of colors in the spring. The trek also provides magnificent views of the Langtang Himalayas, including Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, and Ganesh Himal. The Gosainkunda Trek is a moderate trek that's suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels. However, it's important to be prepared for the altitude and to acclimatize properly to avoid altitude sickness. The trek can be done independently or with the help of a reputable trekking company.
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you with your transfer to your hotel. After you have settled in, you can take some time to explore the vibrant city of Kathmandu, its bustling streets, and colorful markets.
After breakfast, we start our journey towards Syabrubesi, a small town situated on the banks of the Langtang River. The drive will take around 7-8 hours and along the way, you will witness some stunning views of the lush green hills, cascading waterfalls, and small villages.
Today marks the beginning of our trek. We cross the Langtang River and continue our ascent towards Lama Hotel. The trail passes through dense forests, rhododendron trees, and several small streams, providing an ideal habitat for the exotic flora and fauna of the region.
Today, we continue our trek towards Thulo Syabru. The trail offers stunning views of the Langtang range and the Ganesh Himal. We also pass through several small villages and get to experience the unique culture and lifestyle of the Tamang people..
As we ascend higher, the terrain becomes steeper, and the vegetation starts to thin out. We pass through the beautiful rhododendron forests and eventually arrive at Shin Gompa, a small settlement that is home to a famous Buddhist monastery.
Today's trek takes us to one of the most sacred lakes in Nepal, Gosaikunda. The trail passes through the rugged terrain and offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Upon arrival, we can take a dip in the crystal-clear waters of the lake and explore the surroundings.
Today, we descend down to Chandanbari, a small village located in the foothills of the Himalayas. The trail is mostly downhill and takes us through dense forests and several streams.
After breakfast, we start our final trekking day towards Dhunche, the headquarters of Rasuwa district. We trek for around 4 hours and then drive for another 2 hours to reach Kathmandu. In the evening, we will have a farewell dinner with the team.

Our guides carry communication devices and have contacts with local agencies to ensure swift action during emergencies. In extreme cases, helicopter evacuations can be arranged, given that the trekker has suitable insurance coverage.
